On my way back from Sullivan, I stopped at a Starbucks in Decatur and got a cinnamon dolce latte and I bought The Beatles CD Love. Its the music that was used in the Cirque de Soleil show...anyhow...here are my 5 favorite Beatles songs as they stand today (feel free to contribute your own):
- Come Together (I love the music, love the words, love everything about it!)
- Help (older, but I love the concept)
- Hey Jude (no better sing-along song than this)
- Revolution (again...great music, great lyrics)
- Eleanor Rigby (love all the strings and such...not sure what it's really about)
If you're looking for a Beatles CD that hits the highlights, this one is great.
