Update on Yesterday

The funeral went well -- as well as funerals could go. It was real cold at the cemetary though!

The prayer vigil was cool. I got to meet some great people. I didn't really know what to say, so I just quoted this line from Sir Edmund Burke, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

The biting wind and cold of that event made the cemetary look like a tropical paradise!

Thanks to everyone who prayed!

On the way home, as I was turning into my cul-de-sac, I encounted a car in the ditch. Me and another guy had stopped and so were were talking to the guy who got in the wreck. He had clearly been drinking. So I called 911, and we delayed the guy that got in the wreck from calling someone to pick him up until the cops could get there and arrest his butt! (maybe this wasn't very kind/gracious, but it really ticks me off that in this day and age people would get behind the wheel of a car after drinking!!)
