Pride vs. Confidence
Last night I spoke at New Community. The topic I was given was Walking in Humility. So I did my talk, but as often happens, I continued to think about it as I was driving home. So here's where I'm stumped: What is the difference between pride & confidence? I have some ideas, but I'll leave it out there a little bit, if anyone wants to weigh in.

I think that pride's partner is self-righteousness and they go hand-in-hand. Pride can be based upon one's sense of self-worth without any basis of truth.
Confidence comes from being strong in where you stand and is based upon knowledge gained from truth.
