I Need You...

This morning I spoke at Lifebridge Community Church, and they had a gospel quartet called Vision that ended the service with a gospel song called I Need You to Survive, by Hezekiah Walker. The lyrics really got things turning in my head: I need you, you need me. We're all a part of God's body. Stand with me, agree with me. We're all a part of God's body. It is his will, that every need be supplied. You are important to me, I need you to survive. You are important to me, I need you to survive. (repeat 3X) I pray for you, You pray for me. I love you, I need you to survive. I won't harm you with words from my mouth. I love you, I need you to survive. Churches are sometimes so compettitive...what if churches owned this song? What if people said to each other, "I want your ministry to survive, to thrive, because when you win, we all win!"

Hey Charlie!
Singing that song after communion together was always one of my favorite parts of going to church at St. Paul's. It is such an incredible song when sung in sincerity. Thank you for reminding me of it. How was speaking there?
