Volunteer Celebration

Every year we have a big blowout party to celebrate all the people that make our church happen. Well, the big secret this year was that Lincoln Brewster was here! He rocked! We love Lincoln around here -- not only does he write great music, but he's a spectacular guitar player, and he's an authentically good guy!

That's so cool that he came again! His concert is one of my last great memories from Northwoods. I got to go to dinner with Steve and Mary and some other programming people with Lincoln and his band - super fun. They were all great people! I hope they enjoyed their time at Northwoods again.

I can say that I don't miss planning the volunteer celebration... is that bad?

last night was AWESOME! i knew it was going to be a concert, just didn't know who. so that was cool! the best part though was the thank yous from the ministry directors. i love that it was an across the board thank you and not singling out specific people with awards and all that like years in the past. that was awesome!!

thanks so much for the surprise, it was amazing!! Not only was the music excellent, but it was awesome to see all of our youth up front worshipping together & having a GREAT time doing it. My kids are still talking about it. It was so excellent that the guys stayed after church was over & interacted with everyone. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
