Just finished Donald Miller's book,
Through Painted Deserts. It's a re-release of his first book
Prayer and the Art of Volkswagon Maintenence. It's basically a travelogue of a road trip taken with his friend Paul (who you were introduced to if you read
Blue Like Jazz. Here's my
quick review: great book, not a theological read by any means, but really showcases what a great writer I think Donald Miller is. There's a sentence from a review from
Publisher's Weekly on the front of the book that really captures the book well: "A reminder that life was meant to be lived, not just gotten through."
