I have more thoughts about racism, the introduction of genocide to the Native Americans and religous fanatcism -- maybe at a later time!

I'm a Bookish Nerd
Brian O had a link to the NY Times list of The 10 Best Books of 2006. And so, being a bookish nerd, I checked out the list. To my surprise, I found that one of the books on the list is a book that I've been reading, and actually spent about an hour or two this afternoon reading.
First, it makes me feel smarter when I've read a book that the venerable NY Times recognizes as one of the best of the year.
Second, Mayflower by Nathaniel Philbrick, is a great read. It really peeled back a lot of the folklore surrounding the establishment of the Plymouth colony for me.
