Regarding the Broncos

I know some of you are going to ask me about the Broncos loss on Sunday. Here's a quote from an article in the Rocky Mountain News that summarizes my thoughts exactly: "The Broncos did not lose because of the TV replays, nor because Broncos safety John Lynch was called for a predictable helmet-to-helmet hit, nor because Plummer, given a rare chance to win a game at the end, failed to do so. The Broncos did not lose because Shanahan shunned either a field-goal try at the end of the first half or at least a long why-not pass to the end zone, though any or all of those might have made a difference. The Broncos did not lose because the secondary played like wedding ushers, allowing Eddie Kennison and Dante Hall to wander at will, nor because the defensive line could not sack the stationary Green even once. The Broncos lost because they could not stop Chiefs running back Larry Johnson in the second half, and the Broncos lost because they almost always do here, and the Broncos lost because it was probably time that they lost. (from Bernie Lincicome's article which you can read in it's entirety here) That's all I have to say about that!
